Re-Start a heart

Saturday 16th October marks yet another year of raising awareness about cardiac arrest. Re-Start a Heart Day has been in full flow at Laisterdyke today. We have been encouraging our pupils to learn more about CPR, giving them lifesaving skills and the confidence to use them.
Our learners were being educated on CALL, PRESS, RESCUE so they know that when someone collapses and stops breathing normally, it is important to quickly call 999, perform hands-only CPR and use a defibrillator.
